“Untitled” Fashion Show
The inaugural fashion show at The Foundry has set an enduring STANDARD for its annual fashion events.
"Untitled" is the Foundry's first large-scale public-facing event. Before April 2019, all Foundry events had been internally BOW-facing. The "Untitled" Fashion Show announced to the world that the Foundry is a unique 4th culture comprising the three BOW cultures. We are a trans-disciplinary center for design and prototyping Think: International Space Station meets Switzerland meets art/design Studio”
The idea for the fashion show developed when it became clear that many Babson, Olin, and Wellesley Colleges (BOW) students produce incredibly creative and diverse wearable objects for their bodies. The " Untitled" show celebrates individual BOW students’ creativity and recognition of the community and collaboration it has taken to build the Weissman Foundry.
